Back from the ARYLA camp!
The activities are seriously boring but
the company there was great(:
There were participants from overseas
and i really enjoyed the Malaysians'
company! Especially those in my group!
Love their sense of humour! HAHAHA!!
And i found my twin sister! Ppl
kept saying we look alike!

SM, YH, TKB and me went for that camp.
Besides, MJ and Colin were the other
two participants from jc.
we're pretty lonely but well we're

The train trip back home was the coolest ever!
Jo and i had to leave early and when we
board the train, i noticed

When we moved to the middle of the cabin,
right in front of the threesome, Jo
saw another Caucasian woman who was
in the same missionary with Jo!
Well that's not the coolest yet!
Here comes the coolest part!
The guy gave up his seat to Jo's friend(?)
and they just started chatting.
Turned out the threesome are doing missionary
on Doulos!!!
WHOA!
Can you imagine traveling ard the world
in a big ship to do missions?!

'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart,

"This is the first and great commandment.
"And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as

Recently i was reminded of God's two most important
commandments rather often. In a way, i feel that God
wants me to remind the people around me, including myself, that
we have not been living God's word out.

I believe that these two commandments are the roots of being more
Christ-like and to walk closer with God each day.
The love we have for our Lord Jesus will prompt us to seek
after Him and yearn for Him. I guess that's when we truly
find God and be immersed in His love and grace. That's when
we feel grateful for His grace and live our lives for Him.
Live it as if it is the last for Him.

Very often people say they wanna be more Christ-like, yet
they fail to follow the second most important commandment.
Have we been forgiving each other and truly love each other
as ourselves?
Isn't Jesus, our perfect role model, has already shown as what
is it to love our neighbors? Didnt we want to become more
like Jesus Christ? Then why aren't we loving our
neighbors or are we even trying to? By neighbors i don mean
the people living next door.
It's really time to live out God's commandments(:

Have been reading uncle david's book "How to hear from God" and
i felt that God has spoken to me through that book!
Right now, i just have to apply it and i thank God for giving
several opportunities to put my knowledge into application!:D

and oh dear, i'm beginning to feel pressurized as the holi is
ending soon!! Hai still have a lot of work to be done an topics
to be revised and newspapers to be read! Never ending list man!
Starting to worry about the day i collect my A levels result but
well no point fretting over it. Live this day as if it is your last!
Shall pray about this issue!:D

PK outing and Xmas Carnival!

I have decided to blog these events before my memory fails me.
Praise Kids outing was on Thursday and we went Lido for a movie!
We watched Planet 51 and surprisingly it was not too bad. hahaha!
One of the best part was i sat with little farica:D
On the way home, farica was so tired that she dozed off on the bus.

Today's Oasis 153 Xmas Carnival and i thank God for this opportunity
to serve Him and to be involved as part of the church.
There were dance performances and a skit. Stalls by volunteers were set
up in the hall. Pretty sure everyone had a great time.
Went to the nearby playground and started playing some
childhood games. HAHA!!
All this would not be possible without God. Thank God for answering
our prayers! He provided good weather for us and everything
went through rather smoothly! Thank God for granting us this great
time of fellowship! Really feel like praying now(: So much to
thank God for and so much to tell Father God(:

The hall brings back fond memories and fp feelings too.

Bella Notte Musicale 3 is over!
It's been awhile since i practice seriously.
The concert gave m the drive to push myself harder
but well i guess i didnt improve much. haha! And i get to see Amel dear!!!:D It felt good seeing all the familiar faces and those who i love:D Once again i sat beside SX!:D we sat beside each other for the past 4 yrs!:D
Really am thankful to God for making that possible
and also for some upcoming chances to play the flute again:D
Guess will have to practice more often now!:D hahaha!

Just had this random feeling to post something.
Okay had cip with the APC kids yesterday!
We went bowling at downtown east and oh man
it was pretty chaotic with the kids being so enthusiastic!
I didnt get my pri 1 boys this time:(
But the pri 4 boys are quite adorable too:D
HAHAHA!
It was kinda slack once the kids were absorbed in
their game. Then had dinner with the gang
and homed! TIRED.

Went to support SJ, YM, WL, WK's basketball match
with RJ, kieren, james and melody today!
Must say all of them did great!:D
Even though they didnt win, i hope it was a good experience
for them.
Just went to find some quotes and i kinda feel
that this is applicable to the boys:D

Back from youth camp and it was a great experience!
It's my first time going for a youth camp and
'fantastic ' is too small a word to describe the experience.
It was all about experiencing our loving God together,
worshiping Him together, seeking after Him and
wanting to repent for He has given us the cross.

It was during small group sharing that i truly felt
how much God has been there for me.
Long periods of dryness are terrible but most importantly
is that we do not lose FAITH. Keep praying and
God will answer your prayers in His time cus only His
timing is perfect and not ours. We cant rush God.
The part that Jie jie Joey mentioned about God is not a
punishing-God encourages me. I feel like God has
spoken through her and now i know what i should do
as i walk with God.

Really thank God for this experience!
He has been providing so much for us!

OP is finally over!! Which means PW is finally over too!!
All of us have been toiling for the past few months!!
It is AGONIZING!
Even though PW is over, i guess we still cant enjoy this
holi to the fullest! This holi serves more like a period of
intensive self study and revision of J1 topics! Especially
for people like me who still cant grasp the concepts!
Plus, there's a mountain of hw waiting for us to be done!

Today's kinda like a fruit punched day.
Firstly, i miss jia qi!):
Then i was kinda really disappointed cus i think
i'm not going for the concert anymore): Was really
looking forward to it and now it seems so near yet so far.
Next, i felt a bit disheartened and partly because i
felt kinda helpless as one of the older youths. I guess
i shall pray for God's guidance, strength the wisdom.
Gotta feel hopeful!:D
On the other hand, i really thank God for today's trip
to JP with the youths! Really enjoyable!:D
And i don think Chewy Junior is dog food, SJ!:D

Today we touched on the book of Ruth!
I must say i really didn't expect myself to learn
so much!
The things which struck me the most were
1. Following God's plan and will faithfully
2. Trusting in the Lord that He will provide
and thus taking risks
3. Sacrificing for restoration of others
4. How gracious is our Lord!
Many times i struggle to make a decision and this is
because i was unable to discern God's voice from
other voices. I'm afraid what i choose is not part of
Gd's plan for me and i really do not want to make
such a mistake. Yet i guess my mind is so messy
that i cant really feel God's peace.
This is so sad.):
Gotta be still!
I guess this is the reason why i decided to read
"How to hear from God" (a book which uncle lent me).
Maybe God has led me and i should be more diligent with my reading!
I pray that i will truly experience the joy of
hearing God's voice and following His plan.(:

Today's devotion in school was encouraging.
It talks about nice problems. Sounds like an
oxymoron huh.
To many of us, problems are definitely not what we
define as nice. In fact, problems wear you down and
discourage you. So why nice problems?

It is the way you view problems. It is your perspective, your
point of view. One of the examples mentioned by the
teacher was homework. Students dread having homework.
However, we can view homework in another perspective.
Having homework means having an education.
How fortunate we are as compared to children in poorer
countries. We have the opportunity to be educated.
It is by God's grace.(:

Very often, we whine and groan when we face
problems. Thus, we fail to see how fortunate we are.
We fail to see what God has done and provided for us.
Take a min to think about the problems you have now.
How can you change your perspective?
Remember that it is by God's grace to live
so comfortably.(:
So start counting God's blessings instead of frowning upon
them unknowingly!

I read from a book which talks about spiritual dryness.
We do not experience spiritual dryness for nothing.
It is God's way of teaching us to persevere in the walk
with Him and to have faith. Through this period
of dryness, one would grow more spiritually mature with
perseverance.
So if you happen to experience dryness of any kinds, do not
despair! Cus God is always with you, bring you through this
tough time!
He who brings you to it will pull you through it!(:
All we need to do is to follow God faithfully.

When He brings out His own sheep, He goes before them;

Right attitude

It's been awhile since i last post! Gonna share about last sunday!
We had a celebration for Yanhui's birthday at the esplanade.
Before that, we went to catch "The Sister's keeper".
Even though it's not as good as the book, i think the movie
is worth watching!! It's a touching show and will move you
to tears! Most probably gonna borrow that book form
yh!:P
But only after i finish the 4 books i have with me now!:p
hahaha!

Recently i've been having amazing moments.
i feel that God has been teaching about the right attitude
towards serving and what does it really means to grow deep
in Christ.
The sermons, Bible study, sunday school have definitely
humbled me.
I was struck by the realisation that i have never
comprehend what does serving mean and
what exactly is the right attitude.Furthermore, having embraced
God's love, yet i fail to show love to all the
people around me. Sometimes, i even fall into the danger
of having unhealthy thoughts. So, i'm so thankful
that God has spoke through so many people!
Really grateful for each opportunity to serve and i pray that
my actions and thoughts will be pleasing to our Father!:D

Our group had pw consultation with mdm ytd and
things were made clearer to us. It was a dreadful
REALITY CHECK.

After that, went to jo's place to gym!:D
i burnt less than 100 calories and i ate way lot
then that!
Met up with jiaqi and huiling and got the
ingredients needed for baking!!:D
our oreo cheescake is GOOD!:D
Huiling never fail to increase our efficiency huh:D:D
and she is "famous" in CCK!:D hahaha!!
Brought a slice for Rena, Nicholas and David!
Received good comments!:D

Played with the kids after tuition and
it was really fun:D

Experienced what's worship practice today!
Really am thankful to Lord for this opportunity(:
Watching the worship team practice reminded me
of sectionals. I really miss band a lot!
Hopefully there'll be a concert and the alumni gets to

Managed to finish my I&R at David's place
before going down to watch his tennis game between him and his dad.(:

Went back to school in the morning for meetings
and jq told me its 14 days to OP, 12 days to WR submission
and 4 more days to I&R submission! I can feel the the increase in
stress level!
ANYWAY we're going to bake at Jo's house!!!:D

Then off to David's place!
the initially plan was to go jogging but it was changed to
teaching me tennis!:D
i was feeling excited about it though i guess my face failed
to show it huh. :O
Was learning the basic UNTIL it started drizzling:(

BUT ANYWAY, we had maggie for lunch!
It was delicious and most probably because
of the fact that 3 of us were hungry.

500 days of summer is not that bad i guess BUT the
ending is corny. Went to catch that movie with David
and we got hk a table tennis bat! Too bad i cant get to
see his expression. HAHA! After that, we went back to
BB and tuition-ed Rena and Nicholas! They are ADORABLE!
Sent them back and saw Farica in pyjamas! So CUTE!:D

After so many days of suspension, it was a great relief
to hear your decision! Peanut butter with jam tmr!:D

I feel like talking about today's ODB entry. Indeed God has not
promised to keep us from life's storms, but He will keep us through
them (ODB)! When the situation seems stark, very often we
fail to be thankful. Maybe we should be thanking God
for giving us the strength as we persevere, thanking Him
for the lessons He has planned to impart to us.

makes a difference". I find it really true as this is when we
will truly grow spiritually!:D

today's sermon was thought-provoking for me. Uncle Peter's few questions
really struck me thinking and i guess that will be something for me to reflect
upon this week. Am i really ready to obey God without hesitation and really rely
on Him? AND ppl! SELECTIVE HEARING is bad for health!:D

SWIMMING!! went swimming with yanhui!:D
It was so cold and the pool is so crowded. Well, at least we
get to swim so thank God!(:
